I recently photographed a family maternity session for my friend An, who is pregnant with her third little girl. I have to say, An and her family are great clients. Not only did they drive up from Tucson for the session, but they did it mid-week, on a Wednesday afternoon, and in rush hour traffic, no less! Even after the long drive, they all good-naturedly walked a good half mile to the photo site, tromping through weeds and overgrowth, and dodging frogs all the way there just so that I could photograph them in “good lighting.”
I am so happy with the images that I captured that day. An and her pregnant belly photographed beautifully. However, my favorite images were of her spunky little girls, who wouldn't stop hamming it up in front of the camera! It's probably the documentary photographer in me, but I just love images that capture people (especially kids) when they are being their most authentic selves. Scroll down a bit to check out some more images from their session.
Thanks for stopping by!
